There are no secrets to success

One of the famous expressions says, “The elevator to success is always crowded try the stairs, they are usually free.” This proves that success is one of the top human desires as the end game for life. So, as there’s more demand to get to such stature, so does the supply in terms of tips to get there most commonly known as ‘secrets’ rises. According to the English dictionary, a secret is that which is hidden or covered. The term ‘secret’ referring to hidden, is widely used to serve the illusion of the unknown paths or other ways beyond the norm to create curiosity which in the long run doesn’t correspond to a secret. In other words, what’s often referred to as secrets most of the time are just basic things disguised as secrets for a certain purpose until they are discovered. It only seems like a secret when you are looking for one, but on the contrary, it is just commonly known ways only that you succumb to the abyss of ignorance and wrong assumptions.

From marriage to politics, from losing weight to healthy living, you will always come across secrets to everything. This is because person A knows what person B doesn’t know or because person A knows what person B is ignorant of. Ignorance creates blindness. In business, one of the ways to get ahead is to discover and learn more about what your competitor doesn’t. In other ways, it is to know what the customer doesn’t know and sell it to them as a ‘secret’ or whatever you decide to call it. This means that knowing something common might seem common to you until it lands to the other person because we are all equal but not the same.

Everything a person knows is because they learned, and anything a person does not know is because they didn’t learn but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Anything we need to know is always available and to get to them requires nothing but a choice. As Life is all about choice, so does learning which never ends unless ignorance takes the best part of you. The pursuit of success is a result of continuous learning and having the desire to be the best version of yourself, not in pursuit of secrets. It is easier to learn the right way than to unlearn the wrong way since most secrets are not secrets literally but wrong ways disguised as secrets.

The definition of success varies from person to person. Some define success in terms of monetary wealth, others in terms of fulfillment of purpose, and others in terms of financial freedom. Despite the difference in definition, to be successful is all about choice and willingness to pay the price just like it is to achieve anything in life. This diverse kind of thinking concludes that as there is always the right path to any place worth going revealed to everyone, so are ways to be successful.

We all have the potential to be successful in spite of how we choose to define it. There are many ways to be successful, others we know others we don’t. It is through continuous learning that we realize other ways since success always comes as a package. To be successful is a personal journey through self-discovery, which is always revealed to anyone willing according to their capability,, and inquisitive enough to know more. There is always a way, the right way to any place worth going with zero shortcuts because success is not luck.

We are living in a generation that believes more in luck than in the willingness to pay the price for any place worth going. Everyone knows the prerequisites of success but due to mental laziness, most tend to look for other convenient and comfortable ways to get there. As a result, they are always served with illusions that massage their lazy minds for a short period, wasting time meant to build a strong foundation for authentic success. Most secrets to success as the name suggests, act as other hidden ways to be successful that are out of this world but in reality, you’ll realize that they only amplify the common known ways that are familiar to most people.

There’s always the right way and the wrong way of doing things, it is always up to you to choose which path to take. The wrong ways to achieve anything in life often come disguised as the right way with comfort and too much convenience. This is actually the opposite of the hard truth of real authentic success. They say that everyone including you reading this has the knowledge and capacity to get to anywhere you want or in other words to be successful if you choose to. Ignorance is one of the roots of most of the problems. To be ignorant is to do the opposite of what you are required to do which in the long run results in self-made blindness. To follow the right way is likened to swallowing the bitter pill (red pill), while to follow the wrong way is likened to swallowing the sweet pill (blue pill)

On the other hand, another well-known hindrance is impatient. Most people crave overnight success forgetting that everything has a process. Life has a process, and so does to be successful. No one is born and starts running, they have to go through the process of gaining muscles step by step.

In this information age it is easier to learn about anything and the secrets to success are no exception. When you are not woke enough you might come across lots of basic kinds of stuff of what seems like hidden secrets to success most probably when you focus on a one-sided idea. Success is not just about one tip or one secret, but a combination of every tip balanced to work in harmony through resilience and consistency

There are no secrets to success because knowledge has always been revealed to us and we are all equipped to be successful if we let go of any cynical ideas and treat the identity crisis syndrome through self-discovery.
