Stop wasting time

They say that time is money, which if wasted it’s never recovered. In this world, everyone is always running after and towards something at the same time wasting their time. A good number globally is so obsessed with tomorrow more than today. The fear of the unknown is highly overestimated than the fear of the known. Old age is more scary than present age, chasing what you don’t have is more valued than being grateful for what is already there. More money has become the end game to most individuals in life to the point that they fail to discover themselves which is one of the most essential things in life. People move from one job to another, one career to another, or move from one business to another all this under the influence of money. Some tend to view life with the belief that more money is the solution to everything, in fact, money solves most of the problems in this world, but there’s more to life than chasing money. It is still a waste of time and waste of other essential things when you pursue more money without pursuing more responsibility. More money without more responsibility is a waste of time. More responsibility is the prerequisite for chasing more money, and you can’t have responsibility without discovering purpose.

On the other side, there’s another group of people running away from themselves. These kinds have inflicted in themselves an illusion of being somebody else or obligated to be at a certain level in life at a particular time. So as they grow older having limited chances of getting closer to their goals, some decide to do extra just to meet that goal, or give up and decide to view themselves as failures. Wrong identity has killed more people’s dreams than failure. One of the ways that people stagnate in life is by setting life goals for themselves using the wrong blueprints. Some even end up marrying, or starting something like a business at the wrong time because of wrong life strategy. The first goal should always be self-discovery to avoid wastage of time. Someone said that it is easier to learn the right way than to unlearn the wrong way. There’s always the right way of doing things to avoid wasting time, but it only works for those who are patient enough to figure it out.

Having a dream, a goal or a vision in life is one of the key factors that makes one live a focused life. With a sense of direction, it is easy to know what you want, what you need, what to do, who to be with, or where to be. When everyone was born there was a path and tools designed to take one to their destination. This means that it is true to say that life is always a journey and the paths are not similar. Everyone has their own way of getting to their destination that’s why we are born diverse in nature. Some are born in developed countries others in developing countries. Some have more tools others have fewer tools all depending on the structure of the assignment of each individual.

So, what is wasted time? To waste time is to aimlessly dive into what you are not purposed for as a result of being blinded by manmade illusions. To waste time is to be on the wrong assignment for the right reasons and expect the right results. We are all-time wasters at some point in life until we come to the place of self-realization. Realizing that everyone has potential designed for a specific assignment in a specific place at a specific time. The earlier you discover your true identity the higher your chances of you not wasting time.

Life is in seasons, and each season requires a better version of you. In other words, each season in life comes with different assignments that align with how we are designed. Everyone has a spot in this world. What you are equipped cannot be replaced with what the society thinks about you. Bad influence as a blueprint is the root cause of time wasting. Instead of trying to fit in what you’re not equipped for, it’s better to discover yourself using the right blueprint.
